Slitting Line

Slitting is a sheet metal cutting process with circular knives, which is used to split wide steel coil into narrower width along the length & recoil it into coil form.

The machine typically consists of the following components:

  • Un-coiler
  • Guides
  • Slitter Head

  • Re-coiler

Shearing Line

Shearing is a process in which a roll of material (coil) is cut into sheets of required length or pitch. During this process, the material is cut across the rolling direction of input coils.

The process of Shearing sheet metal involves steel coils being fed through a shear machine with straight knives (on top & bottom), which cuts the material into required sheets. From this, the cut sheets are then stacked on pallets for further usage.

Blanking Line

Blanking is a process in which a roll of material (coil) is cut into angular sheets / profile blanks of required shape with the help of metal dies. During this process, the material is cut across the rolling direction of input coils along with piercing of holes / offcuts as per final part design.

The process of Blanking sheet metal involves steel coils being fed through a coil feeder machine equipped with a Press which holds the metal die used for cutting blanks. From this, the cut blanks are then stacked on pallets for further usage.

GO CTL Line

GO Cut to Length is a process in which a roll of material (coil) is cut into transformer sheets and stack laminated cores in a fully automatic process. During this process, the material is cut across the rolling direction of input coils along with piercing of holes as per final part design.

The process of GO Cut to Length sheet metal involves GO coils being fed through a coil feeder, Punch Hole, V-Notch & 2 Shear blades which can cut in 45 or 90-degree angle. From this, the cut blanks are then stacked on pallets for further usage.
